Many people love the benefits of shea butter but avoid using it because of the way it feels and its odor. While these characteristics are often seen in natural butters, it is the way that shea butter is processed that causes the slighty nutty scent and hard texture.

We have made shea butter pleasant to use so you can enjoy it's benefits with the odor or greasy feeling.

It's so easy to get the natural benefits of shea butter by using our soaps in your bath or shower just as you would any other soap. It's delightful, feels incredible and the fresh lemongrass essential oil is simply heavenly.
Shea butter originates from the Karite Nut tree (or Mangifolia tree) which grows in the western region of Africa - Ghana, Mali, Burkina Faso and other Savanna Regions of West Africa. The Karite Nut tree grows spontaneously and can live for over 300 years. It produces its first fruit when it is about 20m. This soap uses shea butter that has been harvested directly from these magnificient and is certified as a purely organic product.

Shea butter has a smooth and soft paste texture and is yellow, whitish or a greenish color depending on how it is processed. It is believed to moisturize and protect the skin from sun, wind, heat and salt water. It is heraled as the most effective skin moisturizer and conditioner because of its high content of non-saponifiable fats including vitamin F. It is an excellent skin moistener and is used for aging skin, eczema and all forms of massage. It is also used to relax the muscles and to treat sprains wounds and colds. The unique formula of Shea butter also helps prevent and protect dry skin providing temporal relief from irritation, dryness and wind burned skin.

If you have mature, aging skin, over time your skin will look and respond more like younger skin. If you have young skin, there is nothing like shea butter to maintain youthful elasticity.

100% Natural Shea Butter Soap w/Lemongrass

This is our high quality 100% Shea Butter Soap. Each hand-cut slice is individually wrapped and labeled and weights approximately 5-6 oz. Fresh lemongrass essential oil  is added to soften the naturally nutty/smoky/fatty scent of the raw shea butter oil. Oils used in saponification are: Shea Butter, Coconut Oil, Castor Oil, Palm Oil, Safflower Oil. 4.5 oz. slice. $6.50.
